Kevion believes we should raise the minimum wage because everyone goes through a struggle and people always say how they want to help, but they don't always show it. This is one of the ways people could show it because everyone knows that you can't live your life off of minimum wage, and supporting raising minimum wage could help many people in the long run.
Kevion doesn't think we should pay for college for high school graduates because some kids already have enough money to go to college. If we offered money to them, they would just look at it as a free ride and a way to pull one over on the system. On the other hand, Kevion thinks money should be granted to those who actually need it to get into college.
On the topic of immigration, Kevion believes we should give people a chance to have a part of our lifestyle. We Americans are so strict about who gets to come to America and who doesn't, but we never think about if it was us trying to come to America. Kevion says, "Just imagine yourself in that situation and then tell me what your answer would be."
Kevion thinks that there should be consequences for the ways that police treat minorities. When he says consequences, he doesn't simply mean being suspended or being kicked off of the police force, he means further consequences such as jail time. To quote Kevion, "Just answer me this. If a black man can't go outside and commit a murder than why should an officer be able to?"
Kevion believes that more homeless shelters should be placed in neighborhoods with high poverty rates.
Kevion supports universal, free healthcare for all United States citizens.
